...and I made the little plate with violets...
The other day I was looking through the internet and came across the most gorgeous vintage plate I have ever seen. I couldn't afford it in real life, but I have made one like it for my dollshouse. And since violets are my favourite flowers of all time (they are purple AND the smell is just the most beautiful smell ever!), I decided to make some more plates all with gorgeous vintage images of violets.
I like them so much that I had to take down the little shabby plates I had displayed above the bookcase and replace them with this set. I would love to have this in full size!!!! That shows how much I like them, because I didn't think I would ever want to take the other ones down, but there you go!
Thank you so much for reading my blog. May you have a happy week with friends and family!!

That is so funny. I was just thinking how you must like those colors because I realized you had them in your DH living room. LOL I also saw on your Etsy that some of the newer listed plates had these colors! I LOVE the above pic! The plates look fabulous, and it just all looks so well together. It's a very pretty display. =)
Carolyn your plates are gorgeous. They look great displayed in a group together.
And the blouse you're wearing in your profile pic is purple :) Beautiful plates, Carolyn, and I've said it before, but again, I love your dollhouse!! Happy week to you and yours, too!!
It is all just pretty!
I like purple too. It may not be my very favorite (blue is) but I am sure looking forward to making some bearded irises I got from Pascale. Yours are gorgeous!!!

You are so right Carolyn, purple and green are a perfect combination, that's shown in violets (one of my favourite flowers too). You are extremely talented, your plates show that and you have a real flair for arranging things beautifully. Your scene shows that. It's all so lovely.

Hello:
Why not put plexiglass on the openings of your dollhouse? I, too,
spent an entire afternoon cleaning out my huge 10 room dollhouse that had gotten so very dusty because I was away in the hospital for such as long time. I now have clear plastic
covering the openings while I make
some plexiglass covers. On the edge
of the floor just glue a tiny strip of wood, to that add another strip of wood so that you have an "L" shape then you can just slide in the plexiglass.
