Polka dot chocolate pot

I thought I would show you what I have been working on today. I had a little chocolate pot that I have been meaning to play around with for some time and today I decided I would decorate it, so here it is with green polka dots and floral designs. It has been on a little trip around the cottage, trying to decide where it would best like to sit....

....would it like to be on the kitchen bench? No, it feels too big here and doesn't know what to say to the sundae glasses.

....would it like to be in the living room beside the bookcase? Well, no. That is just a silly place for a chocolate pot. But there's plenty to read!

....would it like to sit on the shelf by the door? Well maybe... .....but what are the other options??

....would it like to sit up high with a good view of the kitchen? Yes, for now that will do.

Yes, the only thing I have made is the chocolate pot, so I needed to take lots of photos of it!

I am happy because my knee is feeling less sore and today I took my little dog for a walk myself for the first time since I hurt my knee a month ago. It was raining but I didn't care. I was a bit slow but I didn't care.

It was so nice to be outside and I am so happy that it is a bit better.

Pretty chocolate pot! Did you really paint that? I love the spring like colours. Also love this kitchen. You've given me an idea how to proceed with my grandsons request for more bench space in his kitchen roombox. I love the curtained cupboard next to the totally modern fridge, I'd wondered how something like that would work, it looks really great how you've done it!

Your chocoloate pot is so pretty! I can't believe you painted it, well I do believe it, but it looks so professional. :-) I love your rose tin as well, it looks like something that has been around forever, but you are so good at that with everything, so I won't keep listing what I love. :-D

Thank you everyone so much for your comments. I thought I had better post a comment to say that I didn't handpaint this coffee pot. I used my clever computer to make decals which I stuck on - still fiddly to do but easier for me than painting - I can't paint.

For me it's really a mystery how you can get these fabulous results! I love this chocolate pot (I especially like on the shelf) and I love the decoration of your choice ... I am happy that your knee will be better, I am sure that your dog has enjoyed the walk :-)
Life is really good!!!
